Grant District 110 Educational Foundation is a non-profit, independent, tax exempt corporation, founded in 2007, to provide unique educational opportunities for the Grant 110 children and citizens of Fairview Heights, Illinois.
The goal of the Foundation is to supplement the necessary financial support for educational activities and programs within the Grant 110 Fairview Heights community.
The Grant District 110 Educational Foundation Board in the 2009-2010 school year, allocated $2,000 for playground renovations at Grant Middle School, sponsored four $250 grants to teachers in the district, and awarded two $1,000 scholarships to former Grant Middle School graduates who are continuing their education beyond high school.
Long Term Vision
The long term vision for the Grant Educational Foundation is to preserve the money that is placed into the general fund, and let it continue to grow over the years. As the principal grows, the interest generated will then be annually distributed through Grant 110 community grant opportunities. Within ten to fifteen years, it is hoped that our monetary goal will be achieved. By perpetually maintaining and growing this general fund principal, the Grant 110 community members of Fairview Heights will always be assured that educational opportunities be available upon request!
The Educational Foundation Board will meet again during the 2010-2011 school year to decide how it will award more scholarships, grants and help with projects and student needs. Please check back for more updates.
Grant District 110 Educational Foundation Annual Scholarship application process is now open.
The Grant District 110 Educational Foundation is accepting applications for its annual scholarships for the 2010-2011 school year. The Foundation will offer two $1,000 scholarships to students who are graduates of Grant School District 110.
